Boulder Community health is seeking a skilled Sonographer to perform high quality diagnostic Ultrasound exams in the areas of Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular, Pediatric, and small parts imaging. You will assist the Radiologists with procedures and ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications
RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) or registry eligible in at least three specialties of Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Vascular (RVT). Must pass Abdomen, OB/GYN and Vascular to become a Sonographer Level
Certified in BLS by end of conditional period
Sonographer Level 2, 3 and 4 are based on additional certifications in High Risk OB(HROB); Musculo-Skeletal; and/or Fetal Echocardiography.
Intricate knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
Ability to determine pathological processes and adapt to exam protocols and techniques when necessary to optimize quality of exams
Well versed in medical terminology
Excellent problem solving and interpersonal communication skills
Must be able to work independently.

Responsibilities
Provide quality patient care
Performs US exams, using good judgement in scanning, understanding all anatomical measurements, and documenting anatomy/pathology
Assists the Radiologists and other physicians with interpretation of exams.
Assists the Radiologists and physicians with US guided invasive procedures.
work closely with radiologists and other physicians.
Transports patients to and from department or other areas within the hospital.
Monitors and cleans US equipment and reports equipment malfunction to biomed and the supervisor.
Works toward the goal of quality assurance.
Works "on-call" after hours.
